Jovaras Westland Partnership has particular expertise in the briefing, design and implementation of complex institutional building and development projects and has a demonstrated track record of many successful projects in the local region completed on time and within budget.
Each project within the Practice is under the direct supervision of one of the principals, who provides the general strategic direction. The project is managed on a day to day basis by the nominated project architect who is responsible for the continuing client contact, the management of the design and documentation plans, the co-ordination of the work of the sub-consultants and the administration of the construction contract.
The project team is selected from the architectural staff and all documentation is CAD based. The practice is currently using Revit and AutoCAD software. Both platforms enable extensive use of 3D modeling to assist in the explanation and presentation of architectural concepts.
Projects are managed utilizing Microsoft Project and ArchiAdmin for all project management, job costing and contract administration requirements.
The use of email for electronic document transfer enables us to work effectively with our consultants whether they are based in Albury/Wodonga or Melbourne/Sydney.
In addition to the staff within the Practice, we also utilize the services of specialist external consultants for the preparation of specifications and schedules if required to meet specific project time frames.
The practice has completed over 150 projects in the region since its inception in 1993. This experience has given us a unique local focus and resulted in a deep understanding of the many issues that impact on implementing projects in our region. |
