RUTHERGLEN MEMORIAL RSL HALL

The Rutherglen Memorial RSL Hall was constructed in 1926, and at a later date a supper room and toilets were added. The building which provides a key focus for activities organised by community groups and the local schools was tired and lacked the basic amenities required for activities such as school concerts and productions by the local theatrical groups. This project involved a total refurbishment of the building interiors including a full acoustic evaluation and upgrade of the two halls, new heating and cooling systems, refurbishment of the kitchen and toilets with new lighting and power throughout.
