Frayne College is a new 'greenfield' school development on the outskirts of Wodonga. Conceived as a practical model of sustainable development, the school has a wide range of ESD features; rammed earth walls, photovoltaic panels, re-use of stormwater, passive solar design principles, recycled timber.

Two stages of an eventual provision for 600 students have been completed.

Interaction with the natural environment is a fundamental aim of the curriculum and facilities include external classrooms, nature trails, a dam and gardens.
