YACKANDANDAH PRIMARY SCHOOL

The new single General Learning Area for Yackandandah Primary School is the first permanent building erected at the school since the original 19th Century school was built.

The project commenced with a Masterplan that established a new entry courtyard of which the new classroom formed the first stage.

The site is particularly constrained and the setting adjacent to the original school building and the surrounding historic village precinct led to the architectural treatment which is modern but refers to the surrounding built environment.
