Conceived as a centre of national significance, this project innovatively incorporates a wide range of environmentally sustainable design strategies.
The project also involved extensive provision of outdoor learning areas and facilities for horticulture (equipment sheds, polyhouses, plantations, etc).

- Extensive stormwater and gray water retention and reuse
- Use of low embedded energy materials
- Use of integral building system controls
