This project involved a green field site development of some 800 sqm office and teaching space and 1200 sqm of workshop areas to replace a range of existing outdated facilities dispersed throughout Swan Hill.

The project is sited in an industrial estate development on the outskirts of town and aims, through the use of bold design forms, to provide a distinctive visual appearance for the Institute.

Local landmarks (water tower, paddlewheels, rural imagery) have been reflected in the architecture. The design also incorporates a range of 'passive' energy efficient strategies to minimize energy consumption. The project included extensive outdoor vehicle concourses and learning areas.
